Technical support changes

A few IBM notes were published regarding upcoming technical support changes that will be effective on March 7. The main note is here:

It contains two links to more detailed information. In a very short summay the changes will be:

  1. An existing phone number is going to be discontinued and replaced by the generic IBM support number
  2. The previous possibility of tranferring the call to a support engineer (if one was available) will be replaced by the generic call back procedure (within the response time goals stated in the support handbook
